Lower Body Jumps

Want to hit the long ball? To do so, you need to create a coil effect during your swing, says Scott Rogowski, a sports performance specialist. The below exercise works on upper body and lower body disassociation, which will help you achieve that long drive.

  • Start with your hands across your chest and get in your golf set-up position.
  • While keeping your shoulders square, do a little jump and rotate your hips to the left, as seen in the picture above. Only the bottom half of your body should turn.
  • Then jump back to the starting position. Do this on both sides ten times.
